One group of professionals you may consider adding to you network are licensed massage therapist or LMT’s. It is a good idea to know a few massage therapists because you will have patients ask you who you recommend from time to time. Your patient will be very thankful if you refer them to a good LMT, especially if they were going to resort to a blind attempt of finding someone credible by using the phone book. If your philosophy is sound, you should not be intimidated by massage therapists and understand that what you do is very different. You should also be able to explain these differences. Unfortunately sometimes the general public may not know the difference between massage therapist and chiropractors. That’s fine; this can be another opportunity to educate your patients.

Marketing – whether that is chiropractic marketing or any other kind of marketing – is about showing prospective clients that you understand their need and that you can give them what they want. A sign is often the first impression that a potential patient gets...

    Grab That Niche

A niche market is a service or product, which is in demand by a specific group of people. There are several niche markets which chiropractors can target some of their services at, but to do that effectively you first have to know who your clients are and who are the potential clients in your specific area, close enough geographically to actually be able to visit your practice.

Newsletters are a great method of chiropractic marketing. They can be printed and distributed in your local area, but why not avoid all that effort and expense and advertise online in an electronic newsletter? The choice then is to go through newsletters already established for chiropractors or to produce your own newsletter...

Free! As you probably know, people love free "stuff." Often it doesn't really matter what the free "stuff" is, but the fact that it's free attracts people by the droves. You can use this quirk of the human character to your benefit. In fact, in marketing there are numerous places where FREE is your absolute in-road to the hearts and minds of prospective and existing patients.
